The aim of the event is to search for the most popular causes that have received funding from the UK’s National Lottery. The show was hosted by John Barrowman and featured performances from McFly and Taio Cruz. There were also celebrity award presenters such as Larry Lamb, who played Archie Mitchell in Eastenders and William Roache MBE known for playing Ken Barlow in Coronation Street.
