This week, the world of lotteries have seen two major events – the eventual jackpot winner of the biggest Euromillions jackpot ever, plus the Powerball jackpot passing the $300 million mark by rolling over 14 times to date. The Euromillions jackpot was finally won on Friday 10th August 2012 by a couple from Suffolk in the UK, named Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who took home that record breaking jackpot of €190 million. When asked what they wanted to do with the money at their first press conference, they replied they wanted to use it to “Make people smile.”
