With all thoughts on London 2012, sport has never been so fashionable in the UK and lottery investment will now mean that the sporting facilities and organisations created from the lottery good causes will keep sport alive in the UK long after the games have finished. Olympic chiefs will spend £135 million of lottery cash, after the London 2012 games have ended, to keep young people involved in sport in the UK.
